Killing 1.7 million people in 2016, TB is the most deadly infectious disease and leading cause of death for people with HIV around the world. In September 2018 the world will gather at the United Nations for the High-Level Meeting on TB – the most significant political meeting ever held on TB.
Global civil society and affected communities are mobilizing to push for ambitious people-centred TB programs and to hold their governments and stakeholders accountable on their commitments.
