Virtual meeting with Venezuelan Civil Society – 19 April 2018; 11am EDT
The national and regional working groups of organization and people supporting the Civil Society and communities in Venezuela would like to invite all international Civil Society leaders, representative of networks and NGO, members of the Civil Society Delegation at the GFATM, UNITAID and UNAIDS PCB for a meeting to provide a first hand update on the country situation.
For this matter, we schedule an English and Spanish call, aim to provide a short update, answer to questions of the participants and agree on some steps. After the virtual meeting, the WG is happy to provide more detailed information (if it’s available).
This meeting comes in a critical time for 1) a dialogue with country´s representatives of the Venezuelan CS and communities living and affected by the diseases, and 2) is expected that Venezuela, as well as, working in countries in crisis will be part of the agendas of some of the upcoming meetings.
The meeting in English will take place on April 19th, 2018 at 11.00 AM (Caracas), below you will find a table with the times for other relevant cities:

Encuentro virtual con la sociedad civil venezolana
Los grupos de trabajo nacional y regional de organizaciones y personas que apoyan a la sociedad civil y las comunidades en Venezuela invitan a todos los líderes internacionales de la sociedad civil, representantes de redes y ONG, miembros de la delegaciones de la sociedad civil en el GFATM, UNITAID y PCB de ONUSIDA a un reunión para proporcionar una actualización de primera mano sobre la situación del país.
Para esto, programamos una llamada en inglés y en español, intentamos proporcionar una breve actualización, responder a las preguntas de los participantes y acordar algunos pasos. Después de la reunión virtual, el Grupo se complace en proporcionar información más detallada (si está disponible).
Esta reunión llega en un momento crítico para: 1) Un diálogo con los representantes de país de la CS venezolana y las comunidades que viven y se ven afectadas por las enfermedades, y 2) Se espera que Venezuela, así como también, el trabajando en países en crisis será parte de las agendas de algunas de las próximas reuniones.
