Canada Africa Partnership Ride Virtual Bike-a-thon

From June 5-7, participants in over 35 communities across Canada and 8 countries around the world united for the 16th Annual Canada Africa Partnership Ride Virtual Bike-a-thon! We had a wonderful time completing team scavenger hunt challenges while riding, running, walking and boating in our communities in support of community-led development in Africa. Over $90,000 was raised. ICAD entered a team, the ICAD Pedal Pushers, and raised $6,000 on behalf of the Simba Utanto project. In addition, the team was awarded the Excellence in Scavenging prize for winning the scavenger hunt challenge. In recognition for our efforts, we each received a Cineplex movie E-Gift Card – which is much appreciated during the COVID constraints.
